Careers in Research Inc. was founded by SharÓn R. Scott CCRA to meet a growing demand for clinical research studies to be conducted rapidly, efficiently and in accordance with company protocol and federal regulations. We help pharmaceutical and biotechnology companies get their products to market faster.

 

Expertise in patient recruitment and study execution with a meticulous attention to data collection provides our clients quality outcomes within compressed time lines.

 

CR team members are trained in high-quality trial conduct and receive ongoing education in emerging markets, industry trends and the Code of Federal Regulations. Our focus is outcome- facilitating the effect conduct of clinical trails.

 

We are ideally suited for most Phase I through Phase IV clinical trails for the development of prescription and OTC drugs. Arrangements can also be made for hospital based inpatient studies.

 

Ms. Scott is a senior CRA who is experienced with but not limited to identifying and recruiting qualified investigators, site evaluation visits, initiation visits, interim monitoring visits and termination visits; leading multiple project teams, training investigators and site personnel on specific project tasks, including recruitment strategies, protocol procedures, SAE reporting, compliance and FDA audit preparation, and drug accountability.

 

She is experienced in therapeutic areas include the following: CNS - including Alzheimer's disease, depression; Cardiovascular - hyperlipidemia, intermittent claudication, CHF, hypertension, nutrition; Respiratory - asthma, COPD; Endocrinology/hepatic - renal transplant, diabetes; Infectious Diseases &endash; influenza; Orthopedic - osteoarthritis, osteoporosis, pain management; Oncology - prostate cancer, breast cancer; Gastroenterology - gastric ulcer, IBS, GERD &endash; adult and pediatric; Neurology - stroke, epilepsy &endash; infant and adult

 

She has also been a study coordinator for 3 years - responsible for all aspects of study conduct including IRB submissions, patient scheduling and enrollment, spirometry, ECGs, patient home visits, etc.

 

Ms Scott has developed excellent computer and interpersonal skills, effective teacher/trainer with over 9 years experience coordinating task accomplishments and working with a diverse range of personalities
